Introduction

These furnaces are specially used for Continuous Annealing of Stainless Steel Wire & it is ideal for bright annealing of stainless steel 300 & 400 series grade wires.

SS310 / Inconel tubes are suitably located at the hearth. The wires are passed through these tubes & annealed under the atmosphere of cracked ammonia / hydrogen at around 1060°C to 1100°C furnace temperature. The quench tank is provided in line with the furnace.

The furnace is well equipped with all the safety features / Interlocks & auto temperature control system.

Product Introduction:

A stand annealer is an essential tool in the manufacturing of fine wire and other delicate metallic products. Stand annealing is a heat treatment process used to strengthen and soften metals. It is a controlled heating and cooling process that is used to change the properties of a material to meet specific design requirements. Fine wire is used in a variety of products including medical devices, precision instruments and electronics. These products require a high degree of accuracy and consistency to ensure that they function optimally. The said process is crucial in ensuring that the metal is strong, ductile and free of defects. A standard type of such instrument consists of a series of vertical, rotating and adjustable spindles that support the wire as it is heated and cooled. The spindles are placed at intervals along the length of the tube being processed. The processed tube is a sealed chamber that is filled with a protective gas such as nitrogen or argon, to prevent oxidation and ensure uniform heating and cooling.

The wire is fed into the treatment chamber at one end and slowly drawn through the spindles. As the wire passes through the spindles, it is heated to a specific temperature and then cooled to a preset temperature. The process is repeated several times until the desired properties are achieved. There are several factors that affect the quality of the final product including the temperature, the duration of the process, the atmosphere in the annealing chamber and the speed at which the wire is drawn through the chamber. The temperature is critical in ensuring that the wire is heated enough to cause the necessary changes but not so much that it becomes damaged. The duration of the process must be carefully controlled to ensure that the wire is exposed to the right temperature for the right amount of time.

Features:

1.Precise Temperature Control: The annealer provides precise temperature control to ensure the wire reaches the desired heat without overheating which can lead to damage or inconsistency.

2.Uniform Heating: It ensures uniform heating of the wire throughout the treatment process to achieve consistent metallurgical properties and reduce the risk of uneven softening or hardening.

3.Adjustable Speed: The said machine allows for adjustable speed settings to accommodate various wire diameters and production requirements, ensuring optimal processing for different types of fine wire.

4.Multiple Heating Zones: Some models of such type of machines may feature multiple heating zones along the wire path, allowing for the required heat treatment to meet specific application requirements.

5.Integrated Cooling System: It may include an integrated cooling system to rapidly cool the wire after the processing, facilitating efficient production throughput.

6.Robust Construction: The stand annealer is constructed with durable materials and components to withstand the high temperatures and mechanical stresses encountered during continuous operation, ensuring long term reliability and performance.

The application industries of this type of equipment includes automotive ,electronics, aerospace, telecommunications, research and development and some of the industries in pharmaceutical sector.
